Founder
Terry has worked in the industry since 1970. As the founder of Cable Electric, he established the foundation and work ethic that filters down through every facet of our business. Mr. Browning retired on January 1, 2022. He still holds a Board of Directors position and has agreed to stay on in an advisory position for a period of time to ensure the future of Cable Electric and its success.
President / Owner
Buddy started his electrical career in 1992 with Amtec Lighting. His career took him to many of the area’s largest electrical firms. He received his Journeyman License in 1996 and his Masters License in 2013. Mr. Langer came to Cable Electric in 2003 and worked in our Small Project/Service Department. He moved into the office as an Estimator/Project Manager in 2008 and took on the Executive VP position over Business Development and Construction in 2013. Buddy assumed the President/Owner roll upon the Retirement of Terry Browning on January 1, 2022. Mr. Langer hopes to lead Cable Electric into the future on the foundation that Terry established since the inception of Cable Electric in 1984.
Vice president - Operations / Purchasing
Gary has over 30 years of expertise in electrical construction. He began working with Cable Electric in September of 1993. Gary supervises field operations and understands the significance of planning and execution to be a successful contractor. Gary works closely with all construction aspects and encourages teamwork and safety!
Executive VP / Service Manager
Billy started his career with Fluor Daniels in 1992. He came to Cable Electric in 1995 as an apprentice. Mr. Riley transitioned into Cable Electric's top Foreman and was responsible for the company’s largest projects. Billy moved into the office as a Special Accounts Manager and worked closely with the Service Manager and crews. He took on the Service Manager position in October of 2021 and also assumed the Executive VP Role when Mr. Langer became President. Billy is responsible for maintaining and the growth of our Service Department.
Estimator / Project Manager
Michael began working for Cable Electric in August of 2005. In that time he has transitioned from field supervisor to estimate/project manager. His knowledge of working in the field has helped him with bidding on jobs and making sure the work is done correctly and on time.
Commercial
Service Manager
Christian started his career with TexSun Electric in 2015 and currently hold both a Texas Masters License and a Colorado Masters License. He came to Cable Electric in October of 2021 as our Commercial Service Manager and is responsible for all of our Commercial Service Customers..
Residential Service Manager
Robert started his electrical career in 1998 with Larry Reed Electric. He came to Cable Electric in February of 2020 as a Residential field technician. He has since transitioned into the office as our Residential Service Manager. Robert is also responsible for our new Home Generator business that we initiated in 2021.
Office Manager
Heidi has worked for Cable Electric since June 2008. She handles accounts payable, employee benefits, acquiring new vendors, making sure the office runs efficiently, and keeping track of all the certifications for the company.
Administrative Assistant
Kim has worked for Cable Electric since February 2017. She assists Heidi with accounts payable, employee payroll and benefits, as well as the daily operations of the office.
